What is an Apprenticeship?

An apprenticeship is a work based qualification. As an Apprentice through Bexhill College you will be assigned your individual assessor who will support you throughout the duration of your Apprenticeship.

How long do they last?

The length of an apprenticeship can vary depending on the qualification you are taking, but typically, they are 1 year and 1 day.

What will I earn?

You will be required to work a minimum of 30 hours a week. The minimum salary for an Apprentice is currently £3.50 per hour, however some employers may pay more.

What do I get at the end of it?

You will achieve a nationally recognised qualification. Completing an apprenticeship scheme is a positive enhancement for your CV.
